Within the Beryllium architecture any participating organization can initiate a message transfer. This feature combined with the ability to route messages to a given destination allows Beryllium to function as a peer-to-peer message interchange.

The number of participants in a peer-to-peer network is application-defined, not limited by Beryllium. Beryllium can also be deployed as a
Message Bus as well as in one-to-many or many-to-one topologies. In one-to-many or many-to-one topology Beryllium does not impose any limit on the number of participants.
